I read it just now.
Gravy is a sort of sauce, mainly made with meat juices, without equivalents in the Mediterranean/Latin cuisine.

@GustavinoBevilacqua @enriquericos The other one I know is money, as in gravy train…and I’m too old and out of touch to know the current use but it *is* the thing which makes meat taste better so metaphorically that could be applied variously.
