È forse l'unico programma che conosca che ha i raggruppamenti negativi ("mostrami tutti i font TRANNE gotico e manoscritto"), e tante altre belle cose.

I ended un uninstalling it again.

it's making me browse through all 3800+ system fonts I have, but I haven't used any other feature

La parte più noiosa è taggare tutti i font (io ne ho 11 taggati come "frigorifero": https://www.dafont.com/it/sf-americana-dreams.font ).

Però dalle ricerche puoi escludere i tag, cosa praticissima ("cerca tutto tranne…").

I didn't try that hard to make fontmatrix work on debian and arch, I assumed it was buggy because it's not actively developed anymore. Now that I know which combination works, I'll be able to fix it somehow 🙏

Back in the workshop and I checked: I fount the package ready to be compiled in a Slackware repository, but it is limited to the r1220 relase.

Anyway for me is fine enough.
