In Francia il pranzo universitario diventa un diritto universale e costa 1 euro per tutti gli studenti. Nel nostro Paese, invece, le mense restano legate al reddito e chi non rientra nelle fasce agevolate arriva a spendere fino a 10 euro a pasto. In Francia un pasto completo nelle mense universitarie costa 1 euro per tutti. In Italia, anche nelle strutture pubbliche, il prezzo oscilla da 6 a 10 euro.
