#ProjectHotsauce2025 is a go, I repeat, Project Hotsauce 2025 is a go!
6 x each of Habanero, Cayenne, Tabasco, Jalapeño, Reaper and some bell shaped one I don't know the English name of, and 4 x Lemon Drop.

And it looks like a Reaper might be winning the race this year for "first green"!
-
The Reaper won the race, and by now we have some baby plants from most of the varieties. Only Tabasco and Habanero are still letting us wait...
-
#ProjectHotsauce2025 went into the next round today, the plants are now in proper pots. Sadly we only have one Cayenne and one Tabasco, and 20 all in all - not the best result but we'll see. We started with 6 Tabasco even, but all but one died
-
Update on #ProjectHotsauce2025 - most of the plants have been growing nicely, I'm just worried about the teeny tiny sole Tabasco and slightly worried about the Habaneros at this point.
Time will tell. They'll move outside soon.

Update on the chillies for #ProjectHotsauce. We've just repotted them into their final home outside.
The Tabasco is probably not going to work out, it's alive but tiny and I don't really see it producing even if it survives the summer. Also worried about some of the others being a bit too unstable (hence a bunch of help).
Most of the Jalapeños are showing buds though, so it really was time.

Current state of our #ProjectHotsauce2025: the Jalapeños are fruiting, the Tabasco has grown a TON and currently I'm winning against the aphids!
-
Holy cow, this Tabasco is really doing its best to catch up and it might actually overtake our Reapers soon
The first picture of the two below is freshly taken just now. There are flowers coming up!
The second picture shows the same plant back when we put the chillies outside in mid May.
