where does PEAK save game data?

last night me and a friend peaked on ascent 1, but i didn't unlock the following difficulty due to my computer losing power shortly after the results screen, so i wanted to unlock it manually via save editing

though finding the save seems to be more difficult than i expected

since it's a unity game i figured saves would be either in AppData/Local or the system registry, but there's nothing related to unlocks in either

there's nothing in steam cloud related to the game, nor it can rely on achievements because there's no achievement for completing ascent 1...

thought that maybe it could save some kind of data in their authentication servers

but unlocks are available even offline, with no internet connection

@steffo i would check in the game installation folder because that's where i would make the game save stuff lol
