Meanwhile, my brussels sprouts have bolted. The internet tells me I planted them at the wrong time, and that I should pull them up, and start again at the correct time of year.
In my defense, I only planted them when I did because there were seedlings available at the local nursery, and I assumed the timing was OK. Turns out I was simply tricked by capitalism.
