how do you solve the fake gambling problem?
I know of a few solutions:
1) the run ends if you run out of money, so you're always starting with a given amount; doesn't work if the game is not run-based
2) give starting money, can get more only if at zero; viable, but means there's no actual penalty for going all in
3) it's just debt; the penalty is you can't buy stuff until you recover, but doesn't work for every gameany other way?
