@natty @steffo Stardew Valley is presented as a cozy game where you take care of a farm and talk to the villagers and confront an evil corpo
except... when you actually get to play it, there's a hard timer of 3 in-game years for the main objective, and it has the added difficulty of some mandatory tasks being time-gated
everything is a race against the calendar AND against the daily clock rotation
it becomes very stressful if you want the good ending
after that, sure, cozy, but until then it's anxiety town

@natty @efi yep, enemies like slime, bats, weird bugs, etc might spawn in certain areas, knocking you out and making you lose most of your inventory if they hit you too much

that might include your home farm if so you have chosen at the start of the game

@natty @steffo it only matters in the mines, but DAMN IT'S PUNISHING
if you run out of health you lose random items that you can buy again maybe, you lose all the stamina and you are set at the mines entrance and lose some extra time

@efi @natty it's a bigger deal if playing on a touchscreen (thinking of android phone specifically) because it's much harder to get rid of enemies without taking damage because of the controls
