@halva i'm not sure what they're doing in clion that makes it incompatible with all their other IDEs

@halva oh it's not even a matter of paying
i have a (student) license for all IDEs, and can use all languages in IntelliJ IDEA because of that... except for C/C++, which explictly requires a separate installation of CLion
it's weird

@halva maybe there's some component with weird licensing that stops them from selling it separately and therefore make a free version?
