I need someone to explain to me why it's always "if you can't afford the rent, buy less avocado toasts", and never "if you can't afford to pay a dignified wage to your employees, despite paying nearly zero corporate taxes, buy less yachts and rockets".

And btw, someone who can afford to rent the whole city of Venice for his wedding can probably also afford to give his workers a dignified minimum salary, better work/life balance and the right to organize into trade unions.
