it's before breakfast, and for a second there I thought that @fluffcthulhu was getting close to Vatican City, and I wondered what would happen in that event. I assume some brains would end up being eaten.
But then I realized that the Vatican Railway is only of interest as the shortest national railway system, but pretty boring otherwise (and not even electrified!)
(and now I'm wondering how much could it cost to electrify 300 m of line (but of course there is also a tunnel, and I assume it's too low for overhead wires))

@Cadbury_Moose @fluffcthulhu @vaticancow those 300 m of railway are only served by Italian trains, and any kind of electrification would have to be compatible with the Italian railway
If they have to buy custom trains for that service, I guess they could just do something with a battery? afaik they are in use somewhere else for short unelectrified stretches in an otherwise electrified line.
