So. I have just taken the Google maps app off my phone. (Gulf of America? Really???) And this seems an opportune time to get off Google as much as possible. But that’s easier said than done. What map apps should I try? And which browser?

https://www.openstreetmap.org/ - and its so lightweight I just use it in my phone browser (Vivaldi) on my ancient android phone.
Great as a map, but because its not deeply tied to Google, you lose the ability to do searches for things like "gas station" from within the map itself. But if you have an _address_...

Ugh. Realizing that I may also want to shut down my private gmail account. Which will be a much bigger pain.
