Already got lighting working on my game engine, it's gouraud just to be Extra Accurate(tm)
now I am trying to wrap my head around an asset handler... it's kind of really hard, believe it or not!
kind of my idea is that the asset handler would always return you a valid asset, and it loads the real thing in the background using other cores, it's kind of really complex -
@nelson wouldn't that risk resulting in "flashes" once the asset is loaded in?
