I mean at this point enough stories have come out on the subject that I'm convinced Americans think a group chat is a secret place where you're supposed to store and compile all your incriminating evidence against yourself.
And uh... that's not very smart.
Now, sometimes I don't care: for example, when it bites the Young Nazis organization closely tied to the fascist GOP.
But also? It's not just the fash that are this stupid. I've seen it with my own eyes as a Discord server admin.

Don't get me started on the misuse of WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook by so-called activists. I've been tempted to smash their fucking phones.
