I wonder too small for what. She is a champion as she is, so she's evidently not too small for tennis.
I think I've read an interview where she said she has been told a number of times that she's too small to be competitive at a high level, but she's just ignored the remark and went on to do what she likes doing.
She's proven a point, commentators need to catch up.
