and you're also the kind of person who instinctively saves files every few seconds because you remember a time when the computer could BSoD at any time and you'd lose anything unsaved
and you're also the kind of person who edits config files with any sort of modal editor, in which you really need to know where all the letters are to accomplish basically anything at all
be very careful when copypasting bits of config into your config file to use as a template
for example, if you do this with the section of the niri input configuration page that demonstrates how to change your keyboard layout, intending to take just the line that enables ctrl:nocaps but selecting just a bit too much, you will accidentally change your keyboard layout to colemak mid-edit and have to pull up a picture of a keyboard on your phone to recover
