Do people generally consider it useful when someone you want to follow has multiple topic-oriented accounts?
I know I've wished for the ability to follow e.g. "this person's cool projects but not their streams of 40 consecutive shitposts in five minutes" before, but kind of dropped the idea after deciding most people wouldn't tag their posts well enough for a feature like this to work.
(Context: considering swapping out mastodon for gotosocial, and in the process maybe splitting out @'projects/@'catpictures/@'inane_shitposts.)

@emily i've considered creating multiple accounts for exactly that reason, but there's no any client that supports it in a non-painful way...
