Windows has betrayed me one too many times.

@mwl @sng @sungo you *could* tell people that have issues that they are reading your books wrong and that they should read them under inferno
it probably would not be a sensible business decision, but you *could*
(is there even an epub reader for inferno? I've found traces of one for OEB inferno-os.org/inferno/man/1/e… , but surely that's enough for everybody, right?)
(also, I should be doing things, not wasting time looking for software for niche operating systems!)

@ParadeGrotesque @mwl @sng @valhalla @sungo Open Ebook Format (aka epub) is cross-platform. I'm just surprised someone bothered writing an epub reader for Inferno, a niche research OS (written by the Bell Labs crew who previously wrote Plan 9 and, before that, UNIX).

@cstross While true and accurate how does this help with convincing Lucas to do something funny? @mwl @sungo @ParadeGrotesque @valhalla

Mr. Stross might have a far larger readership than I do (and well-earned, might I add).
But I will say: my readers are far, far worse.

@mwl @sng @cstross @ParadeGrotesque @valhalla look, all it means is we have to go invent some inferno only thing so by the time that mwl finds room in his schedule, it's all ready and waiting.
remember those POC||GTFO binaries that were also PDFs and disk images containing the PDFs?

@sungo @mwl @sng @ParadeGrotesque @valhalla You *do* know about the PDF that's doing that rounds and when you view it in a sufficiently compliant PDF browser it boots up a Linux kernel and gives you a terminal and userland?
