I'll show why I dislike the QT feature with one practical example. This morning, as I was walking to the office, I came across this thread by @dillyd telling a nice anecdote about being nice:

I boosted it (like I boost everything I like), and then wrote a small “QT” post hinting at how that anecdote would restore faith in humanity.

My post has received a lot of boosts and likes, but TBH it feels like I've “stolen @dillyd 's thunder”. And it wasn't even intentional (while I suspect that's exactly what the most vocal supporters of QTs are after, subconsciously or not.)

I at least hope that everyone who liked and boosted my QT also did the same to the OP thread!
