It's that time again.

It's that time again. I have a small hillock of ironing and I have set myself the rather tangible deadline of needing the laundry basket for the laundry that is currently going. It's mostly an unwieldy length of white cotton voile, so it's both completely unmanageable without some swearing, but also irons nicely - but I've also been eyeing it for like two weeks like: "Not today, you bastard, not today..."
Regrettably it is today, though.

@sinituulia I currently have a pile of old linen towels that I don't currently use¹, but have just been washed and could use a good ironing before going into their cupboard.
Most of them also have a *fringe* that needs to be detangled with the help of steam.
Is today going to be the day? it could be :D
¹ maybe. But they are still more than I would need right now anyway.

@valhalla Ah, fringe... I have this white linen shawl I absolutely love, but good grief untangling the fringe while steaming and ironing it? Always a special kind of pain in the arse!

@sinituulia I've looked at the pile and I've found that most of the towels with a fringe had already been taken care of, I was only missing 3, and now they're done, yay!
The linen towels with no fringe were ironed, and a few napkins too, and the pile is a bit less than it was :)
