At Repair Cafe this morning I repaired:
- A lamp by deleting the touch switch electronics
- A blender by refitting the jug the right way around.
- A camping gas stove, user error.
- A denim shirt by replacing a missing decorative press stud using the redundant one from the collar.
- A trouser zip by tightening the slider. It won't last and needs replacing.
- An orbital sander by cleaning all the gummed up resin and mess in the back of the sanding pad.
-A motor from a blender by using an E clip as a bearing spacer.I also advised on:
-A chainsaw that needed fuel/oil mix before it can be tested.
-A lamp that needs a new lampholder.I have homework:
- A dining chair that needs to be rebuilt. -
