It would seem that partner does not consider moving to Europe so I can buy a car with a manual transmission to be a reasonable idea.

@valhalla if it were a few years from now, I'd be looking more seriously at electric.
So many of them in the US are luxury cars right now, and I don't know if I want to go that route. I want a big engine in a small car that isn't forever trying to spy on me
