Well, it's not perfect, but using the full 3D printed template and ball nose end mills definitely worked a lot better.

Well, it's not perfect, but using the full 3D printed template and ball nose end mills definitely worked a lot better. I'm surprised how visible the faceted sides of the grooves in the print are -- I need to remember to bump up the export resolution next time I try this! I definitely still have a lot to learn to reduce chatter using the pantograph, and the filler I used on the warped section of the print failed completely. I think this will be the one, though, once I do the 1/8" passes tomorrow. A couple hours of sanding should clean it up a lot.

Got the 1/8"/3mm passes done, and tried to clean up the upper edge which mostly just made it worse. I'm calling it on the pantograph work, and will just have to do a lot of sanding. But first, I want to finish the first plate to confirm the mill operations before I continue with this one.
