I'm continuing work on the failed labyrinth waffle plate, just to validate the rest of the machining steps. (I only have one more of the cast iron disks -- and they aren't cheap!) Tonight I got the rear recess and bevel cut in. Just a bit of mill work to cut two little divots on the front face, and then I can confirm it will actually mount in the waffle iron. Plus I want to try cutting the batter gutter around the rim, which will have to also be done on the mill with the rotary table, as it isn't continuous.
