The University of Padova was founded in 1222! They are at @unipd, which puts them as my top running contender for the oldest organization to have a fediverse account. If you can think of any older organizations that are pressent here let me know! Thanks @Uilebheist for your research in finding them!

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Augsburg dates back to possibly the 11th century but seems the exact date is uncertain (@BistumAugsburg)
