My impact driver does not need to know which bit I'm using. My car does not need to know if I intend to change lanes. My oven doesn't need to know what I'm cooking.
I want usable, repairable tools, not statistically probable advice or robotic tsk-tsking.

The most recent tech bullshit atrocity I've seen is the scissors with a laser on them. Nobody needs these, because they cannot work, and whoever came up with the joke should think long and hard about their life choices.
