Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world need to wake up to the reality that America is gone, and it's not coming back. Not in our generation, maybe not in a few. The world needs to move on, take the hit, handle the recession, and admit we have a new hermit kingdom on Earth.

"But Quinn, you don't know how much that destroys the global economy and global systems!" Yeah I do, it's going to completely horrible. People will suffer and die, but they are doing that right now, and the rich world is ignoring it, because it's USAID for that? It's dead, it's gone, it's not coming back. If America does come back, it won't ever be the same.

It's broken, we're broken, we're breaking the world. If you refuse to acknowledge the situation, you can't cope with it. The king is mad, and Olympus is fallen, the the fortress is breached, whatever metaphor works for you.
What doesn't work is pretending things are normal, or that you can deal with America like it's a normal nation. It's a nuclear super power gone mad.
