Text of New York's COVID vaccine executive order is out. Anyone age 3+ (no underlying conditions necessary) can get a COVID shot at any pharmacy.
- For the first time, pharmacists can prescribe vaccines off-label to anyone age 3+
- It expands pharmacists’ authority to administer vaccines to children under 18
- It allows physicians and nurses to prescribe and give orders for pharmacies to administer COVID vaccines to anyone age 3+
