We were eating lunch in a restaurant and my mom saw this tree stump out the window, and asked me to go take photos of the stuff growing on it. She's into cool stuff like that. I've told her she should join mastodon.

My family who live in the Pacific Northwest think I'm kind of weird for taking so many photos of moss. It blends into the background for them. But I can never get enough of it.

@dillyd I took so many pictures of moss when I visited the pacific northwest recently, it's really amazing how much there is and the diversity of species that sometimes grow in a tiny spot
