@catsalad @GustavinoBevilacqua Oh, wow. It's this old-old, recursively-xeroxed office-door humour sheet, brought real!
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua @burnitdown @futurebird How interesting! I live in a US state with a big dairy culture and this makes total sense but I'd never really thought about it before.

@GustavinoBevilacqua @SustainableSailing
H'mm, which of us should we leave behind in order to have a full supply for every potential project we and everyone we will meet as we sail around the world -
This is fantastic, thank you!
If #AvE was in the fediverse he'd love this, I think.
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua Riktigt skruvade ideer.
-
There's been times I really could have used a telescoping bolt.
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua Second row, second column doesn't look outright useless?
-
This one?
It looks like a screw for a 30° countersunk hole, which is the one with the most sense, for thick parts.
Sometimes I'd be happy to have screws like this one!
-
@n_dimension @GustavinoBevilacqua Some of them do look usable.
The tapered screw is just an NPT thread with a more aggressive angle for example
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua Brilliant! I have a paper diagram that contains all these gems, but have never seen a physical version before.
-
@Nel @GustavinoBevilacqua
i use to order them from etel tuning.

@GustavinoBevilacqua this feels very https://etel-tuning.eu/ (sadly only german)
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua Also have a scan of a really old spoof British Standard for Garden Gnomes. There is still gold out there to be found!!
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua this is the real life equivalent of self sealing stem bolts!
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua this thing implies that there is a "screw or butt-plug" questionary somewhere.
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua I could use a couple of those
-
Yeah, some of them are smarter than they look.
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua They get better and better!
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua I have an unreasonable and frankly unfortunate desire to replicate this.
-
@GustavinoBevilacqua I believe we use a few of these at work. :-)
