Tonight we feast in king Harold Hårfagre's longhouse and sleep on his fine furs.

The journey has come to an end and we have downrigged the longship for the winter.

The mast, yard and enormous square sail have been removed, the tarred rigging carefully coiled and labeled, and all of the granite balast stones brought ashore.

We prepared for this morning's work by rowing the baby Draken around the harbor and hope to rig it for sailing later today.

Finished all of the stowing of the big ship parts this morning, so we rigged and sailed the small Viking ship around the harbor.
