France was ravaged by near hurricane winds and rain last night, but Alsace was spared. I heard a little patter of rain and that was it it. I’m glad we didn’t get the wind, but we could have used a lot more rain. 36°C in the forecast for all of next week (third week in a row it’s been in the 30s most of the week). Shaping up to be the earliest-longest heatwave in France since, ever recorded? Fawk!
