@steffo Honestly I don't even think the arena game mode is actually an arena shooter
Minecraft is a 2015 first-person shooter game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It is the twelfth entry in the Call of Duty series and the sequel to the 2012 video game Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It was released on PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on November 6, 2015. A feature-limited version developed by Beenox and Mercenary Technology that only supports multiplayer modes was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and was also the final Call of Duty title released on those platforms.
Minecraft takes place in 2065, 40 years after the events of Black Ops II, amidst the transformative effects of the future climate change and the emergence of advanced technologies, including cybernetic enhancements. Similar to its predecessors, the story follows a group of black ops soldiers. The game's campaign is designed to support 4-player cooperative gameplay, allowing for bigger, more open level design and less corridor shooting. As the player character is cybernetically enhanced, players have access to various special activities. The game also features a standalone Zombies campaign mode, and a "Nightmares" mode which replaces all enemies as zombies.
I feel like it had a four word long name and people called it by its acronym
It may have been a sequel
What was that game that was an early entry in the genre of "MOBA structured game that you play as a first person shooter" and it was called, fucking, Saturday Night... Moneyball... Fuck I can't rememebr!!
He watched a wandering trader make himself visible with milk and immediately intuited the entire "remove all potion effects" mechanic
He freaked the fuck out at a warden spawning and went "Okay, it's okay, be brave"
His chat, which he is not reading, was screaming "NO! DON'T BE BRAVE"
It's so funny watching him figure out all kinds of shit using just environmental clues and the advancements menu (He went to the Nether! He saw ruined portals and realized he could make his own! It's so cool), experiment with redstone until he has a working understanding of it, but there's just basic things he takes forever to figure out because they don't come up
He figured out what redstone comparators do, and then realized you can crouch to not fall off blocks
Having watched this same person play through Outer Wilds I do actually believe they'll get there
I'm watching a video of someone who knows basically nothing about Minecraft beyond "Monsters come out at night" "You can build houses and stuff out of blocks", "The green ones explode" and "There is such a thing as 'reaching the credits'" try to reach the credits with no outside assistance
It's sooo sad watching him go "Ohh! Fletching table? I wonder what that will do..."
"I'm so happy that I finally hit level 30, it took forever" <- Girl who's about to discover her keyboard has a "kill me immediately" button on it
Any Minecraft #geniuses want to explain this one
