Fedi, what's a good starting point for Touhou? Do I just unearth the first one alongside a PC-98 emulator?

It's interesting how games like Animal Well and Void Stranger have puzzles that require multiple save files to solve. It's interesting how games like Animal Well and Void Stranger have puzzles that require multiple save files to solve.postato in Uncategorized
On the one hand it makes them perfect puzzles to be solved by the community. It becomes its own weird asynchronous multiplayer game. It's a pretty unique way to get people that would be looking up and sharing solutions online to work together towards a shared goal.
On the other hand, unless you were there at the very beginning, it means the puzzle has been solved already. So unless you grind multiple saves by yourself, or find a small group of people that just happen to be at that point in the game too and want to solve it organically, then it's not actually a puzzle at all, it's just a wiki page. It pretty much makes the puzzle impossible if you'd rather play alone.
