important linux question
im trying out linux for the first time on a spare old laptop from like, 2015
im mainly using it to get a feel for linux, and hence, I am using Linux Mint due to its frequent mentions of ease of use and beginner-friendliness.
Should I use Cinnamon or Xfce?

The inner machinations of my mind are an eligma

I was told by someone that i was talking in my sleep today
I was speaking completely coherently, and in a hurry for some reason
I was saying stuff like "I need 2 oranges. I need them for a picture", like I don't remember that dream at all
I apparently needed some oranges though

if someone can refer me a software with better performance, that has a deck view. I'll consider it.

it doesnt need to be super flashy, just needs to do what masto does
(emojies, favs, boosts, reactions, the simple stuff)

Things that make me prefer mastodon over other AP softwares:
- deck view
- i'm used to it
- reactions (on glitch-soc)
