If you want people to see something, you have to boost it.

@puppygirlhornypost2 @julian I often think about implementing some kind of algorithm not to miss stuff, but the key is that I want to be in control of how it works. Generic algorithms are terrible.
For instance, I might want to see the most popular post from each one of my follows over the last 24h. That way, I get to see at least one post from *everyone*. That lets me manually check out people I want, and prevents me from forgetting someone exists just because our timezones don't sync.
