@valhalla OH. g is grams, not 9.8m/sˆ2...
still, units don't seem to match, volume times mass converted to mass?

You know, in OSM we have the dogma "don't tag for the renderer", meaning don't incorrectly map something just so it appears in rendered maps (all the maps you see).
I wonder if it's bad etiquette in the #fediverse to tag for reach, where one adds a tag because it will reach people that might know the answer, even is the tag itself is for something else. For instance, I could tag OpenStreetMap a toot related to GIS algorithms.
@valhalla heeh, along those lines. it's PYCON :)
Tell me, what do you think that tab is about?
I tell you what I saw in the next toot.
@dan I'm still waiting for the backstory of "no shorts swimming suits for males in pools in #France" (only briefs).
@valhalla yeah, no, "reflashed with" is not something I expect from a soldering iron :-P
I want to buy a soldering iron. Nothing fancy, just something that works, to solder a few wires here and there, maybe parts at some point. Should I avoid el cheapo brands, or any other good suggestions are welcome.
@j do you have a write up of the setup?
> This method is also more risky, because one of the steps involves shorting two pins on the HDA (audio) chip, and if you do it wrong you could short the wrong thing by mistake; consequences could be blown fuses and/or fire, or just a dead #ThinkPad. Proceed at your own risk!
I think #libreboot is out of question.
@valhalla I'm ot polite company, and I accept italian versions for my stash :)
_Sigh_, there's a #libreboot fork called #canoeboot, it's developed by the same dev, but they don't quite explain why this happened? At least my HW is supported by both...
OTOH, why would a WiFi card be incompatible with a 13yo #Lenovo T430?
Don' tell me the solution is going to be #coreboot / #libreboot...
The worst part is that the system completely refuses to boot, I have no way of saying "OK, I don't care, keep booting".
@xhr 25y too! WTF! I mean, RFTM, I guess...
