FYI, I just got an email notifying me my Amazon Music subscription was going up in price. I didn't realize I HAD an Amazon Music account. I immediately cancelled it. (It's very $$$.)
While doing so, they instantly offered me a cheaper deal. So try cancelling yours. At the least, it'll become cheaper.

You want to wake some people up?
You want to wake some people up? Part of the government illegal shutdown is targeted at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. So turn off all the data from the National Weather Service satellites and models for a while and see what happens.
No #weather forecasts. No storm or disaster forecasts. No airplanes flying. No crop projections. No river flow data. -
It makes me ill that the Committee on Human Rights of the U.S.
It makes me ill that the Committee on Human Rights of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences had to put together a list of resources to support US researchers and scholars subjected to targeted attacks.
And it makes me ill that I have to post.
But here it is: -

Look, I know lots of what is going on is a nightmare now, but let's now forget another weapon we have: ridicule, mocking, and humor.

Today, in a post that can only be described as deranged, Trump claimed the US military entered California, turned on some magical pumps, and started water flowing from the Pacific Northwest (and beyond!!) to southern California.
Facts?
1. There is no physical connection (pipeline, aqueduct, etc.) that brings Pacific Northwest water to California.
2. The US military has not "entered" California to conduct operations on California's water system.
3. What happened was a couple of pumps in the Central Valley Project, offline for a few days for completely routine maintenance, were turned back on.
4. This action had no, zero, nada effect on deliveries of water around the state. Indeed, the reservoirs statewide are fuller than normal for this time of year. -
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable. Is this a real post? If so, it's some drug-induced hallucinatory BS .
Has the US military invaded California? Where's this totally imaginary water (we have no connection to Pacific Northwest water). WTAF?
