@sterophonick connecting multiple controllers to a pc keeps being a sisyphean task with seemingly no solution yet...
-
@steffo there's a reason my primary gaming controllers are all PlayStation controllers. they just work with steam, no fuss about it
-
@sterophonick PLEASE TELL ME YOUR SECRETS MY DUALSENSE IS THE WORST OF THEM ALL
-
@steffo in what way? explain your issues to me
-
@sterophonick here's the only one which i was able to reproduce consistently enough to describe and report it
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/8042i think it's related to how games process the data received from SDL unfortunately
-
@sterophonick more in general i've been experiencing random bluetooth disconnections and player slot changes, poor battery life (possibly because it fails to shut down properly?), lights staying on/turning off/changing color for no reason
-
@sterophonick oh and this is one i solved but it's funny
"controller vibration occasionally playing back megalovania"
-
@steffo what
-
dualsense gets detected by pipewire as an audio input-output device
two output channels are the headphone jack at the bottom
the other two are vibration motors
you can send music to them and it vibrates in a way that makes the tune resonate on the surface it's lying on
plasma used to set it as default audio output
and something used to play/pause media playback on dualsense connection
with the result of starting playback of the last opened song, megalovania
