Actually, if you divide the tons of fuel burned by a ship by the kg of goods and by the km traveled, a ship it is far better than a truck, but you still always need a truck or a van to receive your orders.
But a ship stuffed of almost useless things bought just because someone made them "trendy" on TikTok, like e.g. those gizmos wasting tons of good ball bearings some years ago, has a sense?
