What can you see from your windows? What sort of environs do we live in? Check all that apply:

if I see water from my home, it means that I'm an area at high risk of flooding (I'm not sure it's the exact English word for the specific risk in our hilly area, i.e. small streams (some of them even intermittent) that overflow their banks bringing down fast water full of rocks and other debris that is quite destructive, but only on a small area around the stream, rather than bodies of water overflowing in a flatter area, and bringing destructive water from below, as it happens quite downstream of us, and can definitely affect areas that don't see water or any other non-human-made space — but I don't want to live in a flat area anyway)

@ottaross anyway, I've recently moved to a place where on one side I'm directly adjacent to woods that are as natural as one gets in Europe, i.e. not modern monoculture, but places that have been shaped by millennia of use by humans for wood and some food (chestnuts!). So while I don't directly see them from my windows, I know that in those woods there are (unpaved) roads, paths, religious buildings, and some non-native plants.
I'm not sure whether I can see mountains, or if they are all covered by the tall hills that surround the area, but I can definitely see plenty of those.
