@GustavinoBevilacqua I'm sure the interwebs have provided an answer, but the Mexico ones are usually M3 screws, the US ones #4-40. If the 1mm hex key doesn't work you have the imperial ones and need a 0.5mm key.
I can never tell what size I need so I have a small tray of all the ridiculously tiny hex keys to fish in.

@Vive_Levant All the fractions of an inch have power of two divisors. So you only need to multiply or divide by two. But by the time you're using 64ths for precision everyone moves to thousandths. @GustavinoBevilacqua

@GustavinoBevilacqua I'll say this in English because my italian is simply not up to the task: if that tube collapsed like that under load you can't do much except put a sleeve on it (or a tube in it). Is it steel? If you can put heat to it you can maybe reform it enough to accept a sleeve. Otherwise, cut it.

I'm self-censoring *way* too much these days. Grumble.

I recently wrote a sizeable, though still weekend-scaled, project in old-school C, an interactive disassembler and markup tool, to facilitate a bit of m68k reversing for a synth project.
I'd forgotten how *nice* it is to write green-field C. I wouldn't want this codebase to get any larger, but realloc-doubling buffers and do-it-yourself methods just scream at you to keep it small and focused.

The thing people never mention when telling how good induction cooktops vs gas is that without the gas heat wrapping around the sides of the pot you wind up with much easier clean-up! You just don't get that stuck/burned line halfway up the pot.
