@sdm there's a chicken place on the way between school and home and when I go fetch my daughter she always checks if I have my wallet with me because the roasted chicken smell at lunch time is irresistible

@oblomov @sdm Many years ago they did, because all cars were small anyway. Now everybody and their mother seems to need an ugly ass giant SUV that they can't even park properly anyway. I hate them with a passion.

@sdm Near the Palais des Festivals, in Cannes, there are tiles with the hand prints of some stars.I discovered Chuck Norris' hands are far smaller than mine.But probably he printed them after the tile was cooked.

@sdm AFAIK this isn't as much a conspiracy theory as a hypothesis about one of the potential factors in the increase in crime up to 80s and the sharp decline afterwards.The Wikipedia page seems to confirm that our current understanding is that this was indeed one of the factors, very likely.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead%E2%80%93crime_hypothesis
