How are there mysterious bottles of chemicals that are not in the inventory???

(and not recent purchases by me, most of this stuff looks like it predates me)

The urge to retroactively make strangling motions in the direction of the people who probably left these and never came clean about having them whenever I asked so that I could put things in the inventory is very, very strong.

@GustavinoBevilacqua I'll go back to the incredibly heavy and awkward to use glass ones before I allow that in the lab.

Not thrilled with this current trend towards "electronic"/automatic desiccator cabinets. I want to keep them near the other chemicals, which for obvious reasons don't have nearby electrical outlets. Also it seems like people are happy with 40-50% RH and that seems awfully high to me? (there are ones that go down to 10%, but I don't really want to spend 2x 2000 on cabinets). Grr. Arg.
Why can't I just buy new ones of what we had (with working hygrometers)?
