@stefano I'm not on BSD Cafe, but I'll put my two cents to say that hosting a small XMPP server doesn't require a lot of effort, way less than other common self-hostable things.unless your users all require help every other day, but I guess that's not really your target :)

@stefano oh no!I used to go overboard with TCP on the face. No-one on the bus ever said anything, but it must have been awful for fellow passengers. @stefano The license for one of the software programs I use must be printed, signed, placed in an envelope, and mailed to the research group at a university in Germany; they don't accept faxes or PDFs, only the original. At least they don't require a seal with a ring stamp.
