Whoa. I normally Mastodon on my phone. Today I was looking at my media view on a good computer monitor and wow, the colors are so vibrant. It's a different experience.

I look for pictures of hairstyles for fine hair, and the photos are all people with thicker fuller hair than I ever dreamed of having, even before my hair started thinning with age.
And the makeup they put on these women makes them look like grotesque dolls or aliens. I've never been super sensitive to eye contact in photos but these photos make me flinch.

And I'm not talking about responses to trolls. You can be jerky right back to the trolls. Although my personal preference is simply to block.

Some of you are really gracious when you receive correction or negative feedback on here. I see you. I appreciate you.

I unexpectedly had to go in to the office today, so quickly cleared the driveway so I could get out. I had to make a snow ramp with the sled-style shovel. I was feeling kindred with WALL-E and his garbage ramp.

My husband was going to surprise me with a falafel sandwich this evening. As he walked up to the restaurant, the employee was putting on his coat and locking up, closing early. They looked at each other. Neither said a word. The guy went and grabbed a bag and handed it to my husband. My husband said, but I didn't order this. The guy said, it's ok, take it. It was eleven falafels.

I'm dying laughing. I got a video of my dog doing the butt scoot boogie, while he's playing gleefully in the snow, and it's kind of balletic. A graceful pirouette.
