@Fettlaus @sinituulia afaik sadly most of those early designs were quite unsafe both for their occupants and for pedestrians, they would have to be redesigned quite heavily to comply with modern standardseven (especially) in countries where those standards are somewhat sane, and aren't designed to use “bigger than anybody else” as the only way to protect the occupantsit's probably much easier to design a new car from scratch, only keeping the old measurements, to the detriment of just the aesthetics.(if somebody wants to give me a free 1990s panda 4x4 with an electric conversion I won't say no, however :D )

@sinituulia here commuter trains tend to be either new or old commuter trains, designed to carry as many people as possible in as little space as possible, so I guess that they never had that kind of equipment in the first placealso, a Finnish person I've met who had seen Italian commuter trains mentioned that we have a very different idea of “this train is full” than the one that is common in Finland.Let's just say that during rush hour getting to a kiosk (or anything else on the train) and back to your seat may not exactly be an option, at least not when you're still close to Milan :D

@sinituulia I've looked at the pile and I've found that most of the towels with a fringe had already been taken care of, I was only missing 3, and now they're done, yay!The linen towels with no fringe were ironed, and a few napkins too, and the pile is a bit less than it was :)
