@scarlett Yep, it's gonna be a minefield.And to be clear, I feel like the problem isn't ChatGPT itself (although there's plenty to criticize it for). The problem is the human taking the output of whatever tool and using it without understanding.
@GustavinoBevilacqua The python code is for automatically securely connecting to a Mastodon server and getting the data in the first place.I don't know of any way for a MySQL server to connect to a pre-existing Mastodon server to import data.
Getting tantalizingly close. I just don't know how to make web pages pretty.It's less than 128 lines of python (thanks mastodon.py!) And it's less wasteful and more complete than whatever copilot suggested when I asked.The only thing is that it's kinda slow, since I don't want to annoy my instance admin and/or risk getting rate limited. Or worse.
